May 1-3 BRR-ING IN THE SEASON WEEKEND
Shake off winter and dive headfirst into a new camping season! Dust off your trailers and prep for new adventures ahead. Pause and grab your robes, a towel, & join us by the river/fire for our first-ever “Bring in the Camping Season” polar plunge!
May 8-10 MEMORIES WITH MOM WEEKEND
Treat mom to a weekend full of memories! Kids make mom a craft that she will cherish ($). Test your knowledge at “How well do you know mom game?” In the evening, moms bring your purses and join us for a pocketbook scavenger. Come win some prizes. Don’t forget to sign up for the Mother's Day raffle (1 per site/mom).
May 15-17 HOPPING INTO SPRING WEEKEND
Hop your way on over to an egg-citing weekend adventure! Kids can hunt for colorful treasures in our Easter egg hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, and get creative with egg dying (1/2 dozen per child). Adults can later join for Spring Bingo ($).
May 22-25 GREAT AMERICAN BASH WEEKEND
Celebrate the spirit of summer and honor the brave with a weekend of fun! Kick Friday night off with Beer Bingo (21+), then join Saturday’s kickball game and adults-only cornhole tournament, followed by the thrilling Night at the Races ($). On Sunday, get creative with ceramics, explore a scavenger hunt, enjoy delicious food from “MARY'S MOBILE DINNER” food truck, and end the night with an ice cream social ($), and live duo “HOT MESS!”
May 29-31 BOWLS, BITES & GAME NIGHTS
Get ready for a Soupier Fun Time! Friday night kicks off with a game of family/friends feud, and Saturday is all about cozy vibes—sharing soups, salads and snacks, while catching up with friends, then grab a blanket or chair for a movie night featuring “ARBOR DAY”, filmed right here at the campground. (Parents, this movie may not be suitable for children).

June 5-7 ANNUAL CAMPER CRAWL WEEKEND
Sip, sip hooray, it’s Friday! Come raise a toast at every post on Saturday afternoon. Enjoy a signature drink from your fellow campers ($). Sign up to participate ($). There will be 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place cash winners! Also Saturday during the day kids join up front for ceramics and a of CAPTURE THE FLAG! At night, music with “WILLIAMSBOY.”
June 12-14 FABULOUS FATHER WEEKEND
Start the day off by making dad a craft ($). Saturday is just for dads as they play in a Father’s Day cornhole tournament ($) and go on a beer scavenger hunt. Dads (adults 21 years and older) join us at night for a tasting ($).
June 19-21 CHILLIN’ & GRILLIN’ WEEKEND
There’s no better place to be than WR on the river! Friday night — Game of spoons ($). Fire up the grills & smokers, bring your favorite cookout classics, and hang out with your camping crew. Float, play volleyball, relax riverside, and soak in the good times with friends old and new—while Soggy Bottom Radio’s Mark keeps the music flowing!
June 26-28 HOOK, LINE & SHINE WEEKEND
Get ready for Reel Fun & Sun Weekend! Join us for our fishing contest from 9:30 - 11:00 AM. We’ll supply the bait, just bring your bucket and reel, with prizes awarded. Enjoy ceramics ($), kids swimming contest, and wrap up the day with a Saturday night Glow Light Swim and ice cream social ($)!

July 2-5 STARS, STRIPES & 250 NIGHTS WEEKEND
Thursday night mini shot bottle scavenger hunt (must be 21 years or older). Friday, we will have old fashion games, sack races, wheelbarrow races, hula hoop contest. Get your strollers, bikes, golf carts and dogs too, and join us for the Red, White, & Blue parade. Prizes awarded. At night, come up front for comedy show with Jim Daly. Saturday, we will have a cornhole tournament, ceramics, delicious food with Grubbin Gringo Food Truck ($), and music with “1,2,3 Draw”.
July 10-12 GAME ON WEEKEND
Get ready for competition at WR! Friday night - cards against humanity (adult version). Saturday, kids jump into a basketball & pool table tournament, then adults join a cornhole tournament ($). Come play or cheer on your favorite friends. Enjoy nonstop action. At night, kids young and old enjoy an epic Game Truck experience!
July 17-19 FLOAT, FIRE & FUN WEEKEND
This weekend brings big fun and friendly competition — cardboard boat races for kids and adults on the pond, a splash-filled human battleship showdown at the volleyball courts by the river, and great music with Tony’s Trio!
July 24-26 JINGLE AND JIVE WEEKEND
Deck your site with bells and holly for a chance to win prizes! Friday night is Christmas Cookie Bingo (1 container of 12 cookies = 1 card, max 6 cards). On Saturday, kids enjoy ceramics ($), adults can join a craft session afterward ($, sign-up required, limited spots). Santa is paddling in with cookies and ice cream for the kids, then glide over to the pavilion to catch the vibes with live tunes from Zeke’s Choice!
July 31 - August 1 $1.98 CONTEST WEEKEND
Men & boys, raid your attic and sister’s closet, too! Friday night movie, then Saturday strut your stuff in bikinis and gown - flowers are provided and awards for the winners! Grab a tasty bite at “Dumpling Diva’s Food Truck” ($), then party with DJ Wally & Bernie by the pool for a night swim!

August 7-9 ESCAPE THE WILD WEEKEND
Adventure awaits! Friday night, explore the outdoors and start with a slimy craft. Is fear a factor to you? Play or cheer on a contestant with Fear Factor—style challenges featuring nature, critters, and teamwork, while adults race against the clock in an escape room ($). A weekend of bravery, laughs, and memories.
August 14-16 STARS, SPELLS AND SMILES WEEKEND
Gaze into our crystal ball and see yourself camping with us. Friday night-LRC ($). Saturday, join us in a magical scavenger hunt and saran wrap ball game. Enjoy magical food with “DECADENCE” Food Truck ($). Saturday evening head to the pavilion for some magic with Jim!
August 21-23 DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES WEEKEND
Friday night kicks off the night with decades trivia, then Saturday dress in the decade you were born and dance the night away as DJ Mark spins hits from every era. From poodle skirts to bell bottoms, it’s a full weekend of throwback fun—plus kids join in the decades dance too and enjoy Twister, bubble-gum blowing contests, and more!
August 28-30 LOCK, LOAD & FUN WEEKEND
Ready, aim, fire—head on over to WR! Saturday is packed fun with a cell phone scavenger hunt, a saran wrap ball game, and tasty food with “WAFFLE UP” food truck ($). In the evening, we invite children and adults alike to gather by the river and take part in a thrilling Gelly Ball Battle Game—participation requires a signed waiver.

September 4-7 THE GREAT SUMMER SENDOFF
Summer isn’t over yet! On Friday night, adults can join Beer Bash Bingo ($), 21+. Saturday morning, try your hand at ceramics ($), grab a list for the scavenger hunt, and later enjoy our annual fundraiser auction benefiting a person or charity. Sunday, relax by the pool or float the liver, play giant yard games, grab a bite from the “Decadence Food Truck”, and end the night sundaes ($), drinks, and live music from No Clue Duo.
September 11-13 LET THE GAMES BEGIN WEEKEND
From juice boxes to cold brews, it is Olympics Weekend at the campground! Kids can compete in fun Olympic games while adults bring their A-game to the Beer Olympics—grab your team, bring your spirit, and let the fun begin.
September 18-20 SIPS IN THE STICKS WEEKEND
From little sips to grown-up pours, this weekend has something for everyone. Kids enjoy an early drink walk through the camp, followed by an adult camper crawl. At night, gathered under the pavilion with live music with “Wild Grit.”
September 25-27 FOOD, FUN & FRIENDS WEEKEND
Friday night, kids join us for a game of Jailbreak, while adults can head over to the Rec Hall for Bingo ($). Saturday night, join us for our Seasonal Camping Potluck Dinner—please bring your favorite dish or dessert to share; we will provide the soda/water, plates, and utensils, enjoy great conversation about activities you’d like to bring back or new ideas you’d like to see at the campground. After dinner meet around the bonfire and relax with friends.

October 2-4 DERBY WEKEND
Calling all cars, I mean kids! Join us in the morning to make and decorate a wooden derby car ($). Then later grab your racer and head over to the “Derby Track.” After the races, come and join us for ice cream sundaes ($), and a movie.
October 9-11 FALL FEST & FOREST FUN WEEKEND
Friday night to plant magical pumpkin seeds in our campground, then come back Saturday and pick your very own pumpkin to carve with an adult ($) Bring your own tools. Saturday, activities include apple bobbing, apple bowling, & kids’ delicious candy apple making. At night gather around the fire for delicious apple campfire cooking treats!
October 16-18 WHISPERS IN THE WOODS WEEKEND
When the sun goes down, the trees begin to talk ... Join us for a hauntingly fun weekend filled with XXX-Adult only bingo ($), trick or treat shirt/bag craft ($), pumpkin painting ($), hayrides, trick or trunking (decorate your vehicles/golfcarts), and a chilling haunted walk through the woods. Stay close to the fire - because you never know what is listening from the shadows. Bonfire at the pavilion. Scarecrow decorating contest winner announced this weekend.
October 23-25 SEASONAL ONLY WEEKEND
This weekend is about saying “see you later,” not goodbye. After everything is cleaned up, meet at the pavilion for a campfire and to watch “ARBOR DAY,” a movie that was filmed right here at WR! Thank you for a great season!
